The Morning After

Inspired by an almost 'SKINS' image, myself and one of my best-friends, who is also on the same course as me, decided we would have a little play around. Bright Colours, Messy Make-up, and the morning after teenage attitude is how I would describe the styling of our photoshoot. Get an Eye-ful!

Hedi Slimane and ZOO magazine

I love these photographs by Hedi Slimane in the current issue of ZOO magazine (one of my personal favourites). Dark, Dramtic Shadowing, and Close-up images, is what keeps me looking through them again and again. Every image feels as though it tells its own story... Another success Hedi!

Marguerite Sauvage

One of my all time favourite illustrators, and inspirations - Marguerite Sauvage.
"Sauvage creates an intriguing intimacy between animal and human, reverie and reality. In her world, lady-beast hybrids are clothed in puff-sleeve jackets. Imaginative and dreamy, it's like Narnia unfolded in le Marais." - www.refinery29.com

FreePeople Photoshoot

Myself, a couple of friends, youthful-carefree-hippy image, and a camera. Just some Summer Fun.

Constance Jablonski

I met Constance when I was at my Internship with Julien MacDonald. Not only stunningly beautiful, but one of the most lovely natured models I have met! Lately I am seeing her everywhere, all the support for the future Constance!

Shu Uemura + Water

I have been Living, Breathing, and Eating Shu Uemura, since L' Oreal set us a Live project on the brand. I truly loved this group project, and have been chosen to go up to London L'oreal Headquarters and present our ideas to them!... Hard work does pay off after all.
So the short of it is, that our BIG CONCEPT, is Water, and a huge inspiration for our work has derived from a Japanese Artist called Shinichi Maruyama.
Here is a video of some of his work, blows me away everytime.

Rome ... Behind The Tourism

Summer 2008. The City of Rome. A few moments and things I captured on Film, that I find beautifully enticing. Not the tourism, but what I felt was raw and unpolished, Don't you find things that are perfect, boring?
